The Residence Services Division is tasked to manage all student housing sustainably, in line with the values of the University and in compliance with national norms and standards.
Duties/Pligte
Verantwoordelik om ondersteuning te bied aan die Afdeling soos en wanneer versoek, spesifiek aan Kluster Koshuisdienste Koördineerders met inspeksies en volhoubaarheid van koshuise wat onder hul resorteer;
Verrig aflosfunksie aan Koshuisdienste Koördineerders gedurende lang afwesigheidsperiodes in lyn met die KPA;
Handhawing van veiligheidstandaarde binne koshuise, huise en hubs.
Responsible for providing support to the Division as and when required, specifically to the Cluster Residence Co-ordinators in the inspections and upkeep of the Residences for which they are responsible;
Relief Residence Service Co-ordinators during long periods of absence from work and execute the tasks as per CPA;
Maintaining safety standards within residences, houses and hubs.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
Graad 12 (Senior Sertifikaat);Bewese toepaslike ervaring, opgedoen binne vergelykbare omgewings;
Bewese goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;
Meelewendheid en positiewe ingesteldheid teenoor studente, personeel en kliënte;
Goeie kommunikasievaardighede;
Goeie rekenaarvaardigheid in die MS Word-pakket (ten minste Outlook, Excel en Word);
Goeie administratiewe en organisatoriese vaardighede;
Goeie konflikhanteringsvaardighede;
Die vermoë om selfstandig en selfgemotiveerd te werk;
Die vermoë om deeglik te werk en effektiewe tydsbestuur toe te pas;
Die vermoë om met selfvertroue op te tree;
Professionele dienslewering aan kliënte; en
‘n Geldige rybewys.
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate);
Proven appropriate experience gained within comparable environments;
Proven good interpersonal skills;
Empathy and positive attitude towards students, staff and clients;
Strong communication skills;
Good computer skills in MS Word (at least Outlook, Excel and Word);
Good administration and organisational skills;
Good conflict management skills;
The ability to work independently and self-motivated;
The ability to work thoroughly and to manage time effectively;
The ability to act with confidence and authority;
Professional customer service; and
A valid driver’s licence.
Recommendation/Aanbeveling
Tegniese kennis ten opsigte van die instandhouding van geboue;
Kennis en ervaring in Beroepsgesondheid en-veiligheid.
Technical knowledge about maintenance of buildings;
Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
