The Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches for the 2023 tournament are being organized this year by CAF. The teams who qualify will represent Africa at the cup next year. the 34th edition of the international men’s football championship of Africa. Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament is one of the twelve groups that will decide the two teams that shall qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The teams shall play against each other in a home-and-away round-robin format, between 9 June 2022 and March 2023. The group consists of four teams which are Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi.The teams will play against each other on a home-and-away basis. The group winner qualifies to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations while the runner-up enters a play-off against the team finishing third in Group A of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers to determine who shall be the second team
